Therapy Services
Individual Therapy Sessions
Having a confidential, non-judgmental, safe place to explore past experiences and who you are/want to be is an invaluable experience. I usually recommend some combination of one-on-one/individual sessions with additional group and/or family sessions to assist with improved connections where they are needed most.
Group Therapy Sessions
Different group therapy options are in constant development based on the collective needs of our community and those I serve – they are based on shared struggles, goals, and/or personal characteristics and are limited to 3-8 participants (i.e., I might have a group for teen girls seeking improved self-esteem and confidence, or a group of middle school students working through family divorce or conflict).
Family Therapy Sessions
Family sessions often support and enhance the work done in individual treatment and will be recommended when I and my clients deem it is safe to do so. Being able to practice honesty, trust, and communication skills together with a calm guide can be extremely helpful to get “unstuck” from the usual conflicts and patterns of family interactions.

Settings / Locations
My goal is to provide therapy sessions in nature/outside as often as possible to best support experiences of connectivity, and do so when this option is safe, desired, and private. I am happy to provide suggestions for locations where this can occur and gladly receive your recommendations or preferences as well. Online/telehealth and office-based sessions are also available and a combination of these three venues can be arranged based on your needs and comfort.
*** As of now, I do not have an office space option for sessions due to COVID-19 restrictions. The majority of my work with clients is being conducted online through my secure telehealth platform, but limited outdoor sessions may be possible with safety protocols in place as recommended by state and federal agencies. ***
Treatment Approach
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I use several experiential methods of treatment based on a person’s presenting needs, goals, and interests. These often include: art and writing, body movement, play, and nature-based activities. Each of these outlets can help engage our minds, bodies, and spirits in ways that better connect us to our humanity and natural state. I believe in being good at many different approaches rather than being “perfect” at any one technique. To me, taking care of my community means being able to help as many people as possible that come my way. It means being able to “meet people where they are” and tailor my approach and skills to best match what the person in front of me knows they need, are drawn toward, and benefit from.
Choices regarding how and how often to meet will be made in collaboration and based on you/your child’s comfort level and agreement. We can also invite anyone into treatment that you/your child think would benefit the progress being made – this could be additional/extended family members, teachers or school staff, doctors or medical professionals, or other community members. How you or your child receive therapy is flexible and based on my clinical recommendations in addition to the expertise you bring about your own lives, preferences, and needs.
